Our Farm Sanctuary family recently lost a very dear friend, Frank steer. 💔 In 2016, Frank ran for his life after he courageously fled from a NYC slaughterhouse right onto the campus of York College in Queens. Videos from the scene showed a frightened and misunderstood bull who went to the only thing he knew was safe in a sea of unfamiliar sights and sounds: grass. Frank's reaction shouldn't have been a surprise to hundreds of onlookers as they cheered, laughed, and took videos on their phones.
