Today was the second test launch of Nuri rocket, also known as KSLV-II (Korean Space Launch Vehicle-II), by the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI). The initial launch was successful and we're awaiting further announcement from KARI whether or not the dummy payload was successfully deployed. Update: It was a success and South Korea has become the 7th country in the world to successfully launch a 1 ton satellite into orbit using its own space launch vehicle. | Korea Defense Blog
