Multiple wildfires are actively burning across the Texas Panhandle this afternoon. Here’s what we’re tracking: • Howardwick / Goodnight area – A dangerous wildfire north of Highway 287 is moving east-northeast. The county sheriff has issued an evacuation order for Howardwick and residents north of town. • Northwest Potter County – A large fire between Channing and Vega near Highway 385 is moving toward rural areas northwest of Amarillo. Voluntary evacuations have been issued. • West of Higgins (
