Nevada Wildfire Consumes 17,000 Acres as Crews Battle On

Smoke from wildfires in California will continue to drift across northern and central Nevada through the period, resulting in hazy skies and reduced air quality. Visibility may at times drop below 5 miles. Otherwise, mostly sunny days and quiet nights expected through roughly Saturday.
