Sickle-cell Anemia

Mutate an amino acid in PyMOL! I perform mutagenesis on my protein of interest in the lab and it’s really important for me to think about how my mutation impacts the function of my protein. I perform experiments in the lab to really test it but I also like to look at the structure to see what residues are nearby. Visualizing mutagenesis is a great tool!
