Almost hit the pier first day of October but my back was hurting so waited until I knew some people were out there. Then i it the pier for the first time this year since weather was to bad to fish the beach. Met some guys out there at like 11 and fished till like 5. They had a flurry of reds early in the morning landing 3 of like 7 bites then the bite shut down. I got there at the dead bite but after about an an hr or so.
