A resident of Altadena, California, said the fire evacuation warning in her neighborhood came too late. At 1 am on Tuesday, hours after her family had fled their home, Roxanne Cheung said there was still no sign of an evacuation warning. Three hours later she learned that a large area, including her community, had been declared a mandatory evacuation zone. By the morning, Cheung heard that most of the neighborhood, including her own home, had burned to the ground. #California #fire #evacuation #
