Gravy milling job for the Milltronics Cnc Toolroom mill 😎 4 aluminum plates that all needed a 1.885” x .187” counterbore to fit some 1-7/8” tubing. The material was all hand cut with a metal cutting circular saw, so no square sides. My Talon grip vise jaws worked perfectly for this. These are going to be used as floor braces inside of a boat. Back on the Milltronics CNC lathe to make a small batch of aluminum parts for the welding shop. This was my first Cnc lathe project drilling holes and I gotta say it all went great. I used the AddForceCut parting tool to also cut a weld bevel on the back side before parting it completely off. Catching parts will be another subject I need to learn about. I’ll tap all of these with the Flexarm. Big thanks to Kevin @mechvantage for the Fusion training help with this program 👊🏻 Sometime it’s dead
