Thousands of sheep brought traffic to a crawl on Colorado’s Highway 40 this week, as 6,000 woolly wanderers made their annual migration across the road near Craig. The unusual jam, caught on video, shows the massive flock escorted by herders and dogs as they slowly take over both lanes. The sheep are being moved to new grazing grounds, and though it’s not uncommon in rural parts of the state, it’s still a surreal scene for unsuspecting drivers caught behind a literal herd of traffic. #ColoradoTr
