Beef Rendan(kotuwa)? 🇮🇩/🇱🇰 A slightly different take on a legendary dish from Indonesia - Beef Rendang. Chunks of meat coated with a punchy spice paste and immersed in rich coconut milk for a long slow cook yielding the most tender meat ever. I was happy with all substitutes except galangal - it does not have a comparable substitute.
