With over 1,000 programs nationwide, Learn to Skate USA® offers beginner skating lessons to skaters of all ages and abilities by way of a trusted, standardized curriculum endorsed by U.S. Figure Skating, USA Hockey and US Speedskating.

U.S. Figure Skating is the national governing body for the sport of figure skating in the United States. U.S. Figure Skating is a member of the International Skating Union (ISU), the international federation for figure skating; and the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC).

Jan 20, 2025 · The 2025 Prevagen U.S. Figure Skating Championships will be held Jan. 20-26, 2025, in Wichita, Kansas, at INTRUST Bank Arena. U.S. champions will be crowned in the women’s, men’s, pairs and ice dance events at both the junior and championship levels.

U.S. Figure Skating is proud to have over 246,000 members, including 185,581 Learn to Skate USA ® members. We serve more than 875 full, collegiate and high school teams and more than 1,000 registered Learn to Skate USA programs nationwide.

The United States Figure Skating Championships®, held annually since 1914, is the nation’s most prestigious figure skating event. The competition crowns U.S. champions in ladies, men’s, pairs and ice dance at both the senior and junior levels.

Oct 2, 2024 · U.S. Figure Skating is pleased to announce that NBC Sports will present more than 300 hours of figure skating coverage during the 2024-25 season, including coverage on NBC, Peacock, E! and USA Network.

Team USA is defined as those skaters who are selected by the International Committee, International Committee Management Subcommittee and/or the International Skating Union to represent the United States at ISU events.

U.S. Figure Skating is the National Governing Body (NGB) for the sport of figure skating in the United States, consistent with the Ted Stevens Olympic & Amateur Sports Act, the Bylaws of the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee and the International Skating Union.

Athletes are at the core of U.S. Figure Skating’s mission and their involvement in the leadership of the organization is critical. The Board of Directors, in addition to all committees, must be comprised of at least 33.3% athletes.
