LOUIS — At least 5 people have been killed and over 5,000 homes and buildings were damaged after after two confirmed tornadoes raced through the metropolitan St. Louis Friday afternoon, according to Mayor Cara Spencer.
It's unclear whether the Trump administration will approve the request. FEMA has signaled that disaster recovery responsibility would be transitioned to states.
