Amazon is flagging items in its deals section as a “limited time deal” or “with Prime.” Since everything under these labels could be considered an early Prime Day deal, I have stuck mostly to Strategist-approved items that are marked down to extra-good prices.

Before Amazon unleashes its entire stock of Prime Day deals, the retailer has sneakily discounted a few surprisingly good items early. We took the time to carefully scope out the best of these pre-Prime Day deals and gathered them in the collection ahead.

To keep it real, Amazon's own TV deals during Prime Day typically can't compete with TV deals from Best Buy or Walmart's anti-Prime Day sales. But things seem to be a little more heated in 2025 — Amazon has a much more robust list of actually-worthwhile TV deals than it usually does in pre-Prime Day mode.
