Othello opened at the Barrymore Theatre on March 23 and has sold out every performance. Attendees of the star-studded spring event included Gayle King, Samuel L. Jackson, Dr. Jill Biden and Former U.S. President Joe Biden, Ariana DeBose, Nia Long, Danielle Brooks, Colman Domingo, and more.

Ensemble-driven plays like “Purpose” and “English” received a slew of nominations, while Denzel Washington, Jake Gyllenhaal and Idina Menzel were overlooked.

Culkin notably won an Oscar in March for “A Real Pain” and an Emmy last year for “Succession.” Other stars who were snubbed by the Tonys include Idina Menzel for “Redwood,” Jim Parsons for “Our Town,” Robert Downey Jr. for “McNeal” and Julianna Margulies for “Left on Tenth.”
