Multiple rounds of thunderstorms will be possible Wednesday in Northeast Ohio ahead of a cold front that is expected to move in from the west. The first round of storms will be isolated in nature and will move east-northeast into the region by the early afternoon.

More powerful storms are expected to sweep across the Midwest and into the Ohio Valley on Wednesday before millions of people in the Northeast, mid-Atlantic and New England see a severe weather threat on Thursday.
