Nottingham Forest are closing in on a deal to sign 27-year-old Brazil midfielder Douglas Luiz from Juventus, who could make a move for Forest and Ivory Coast midfielder Ibrahim Sangare, 27. (Gazzetta dello Sport - in Italian)

The midfielder joined the Turin club last summer in a €50million (£42.3m; $53.6m) plus add-ons move from Aston Villa.

On Wednesday, Tuttosport reported Douglas Luiz’s agent Kia Joorabchian has reached a preliminary agreement with Nottingham Forest on wages. Later that day, Gazzetta dello Sport reported the midfielder is very close to joining the Reds and Ibrahim Sangaré could be included as part of the deal.
