NFL Scouting Combine has drawn to a close from Indianapolis. It was a really good group of participants, which supports the idea that this is a year to find starters and depth rather than blue chip talent at the top of the draft.

Texas wide receiver Matthew Golden boosted his draft stock following his performance at the 2025 NFL scouting combine. Former NFL general manager and ESPN insider Mike Tannenbaum wrote in a social media post that there is "no doubt" Golden will be the first wide receiver selected in the 2025 NFL draft due to his combine results.

Running back Donovan Edwards, whose production was inconsistent at Michigan, had a strong showing at the combine. His 23 reps on the bench press (225 pounds) were the most of any running back this year. The NFL posted a video of Edwards “making quick work of the Duce Staley drill.”
