Early voting kicked off Saturday for New York City's primary. On the ballot are local City Council races, public advocate, comptroller and the highly anticipated Democratic mayor's race. CBS News New York's Lori Bordonaro spoke with voters who turned out early to choose their candidates.

In Brooklyn and Manhattan, voters trickled into polling places, many supporting Zohran Mamdani and Comptroller Brad Lander, the leading progressive candidates in the crowded field.
