Ten inmates escaped from a New Orleans jail run by the Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office, sparking a massive search for the group.

On Tuesday, the Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office confirmed Sterling Williams, a 33-year-old employee at the Orleans Justice Center, had been arrested as they investigate whether he aided the 10 men in their escape.
Louisiana officials released new booking pictures of inmates that have been recaptured after they escaped jail on Friday.
Orleans Parish District Attorney Jason Williams said OPSO mishandled evidence and that the state was responsible for some inmate delays.
