Around 9:55 a.m. Friday, a vehicle fire sparked a small brush fire on the southbound 5 Freeway near Highway 138 in Gorman, according to officials. A Bureau of Land Management truck was fully involved and spread to the brush, according to officials. Firefighters were able to stop the brush fire from spreading, according to officials on scene.
