Damian Lillard went back to Oakland High on Thursday to help make the path for some current students there a little easier.

Lillard is no stranger to playing hard in an All-Star Game. Last year, Lillard won the All-Star MVP after knocking down 11 3-pointers and totaling 39 points. In the seven All-Star games he played in, Lillard has averaged 22.3 points on 47.5% shooting from the field.

All-Star week is bringing the best of the NBA here to the Bay Area. One basketball star came home to Oakland and offered support to the community that helped him get to where he is now.
