A tense moment unfolded Friday afternoon after a rental vehicle drove through peaceful protesters gathered in front of Coast Guard Island and stopped several yards from the wall blocking vehicle access.

In video from the scene posted by KTVU-TV reporter Zac Sos, a U-Haul truck can be seen backing up toward armed Coast Guard personnel as people in the crowd appeared to yell at the truck to "Stop!" Coast Guard security personnel then fire multiple shots at the U-Haul, which tries to drive away.
