But beneath the surface of the new PGA Tour CEO's first major address at the Tour Championship lay an unmistakable message: sweeping changes are inevitable, and he won't hesitate to dismantle the current structure if it ultimately makes his league stronger.

Brian Rolapp, who spent 22 years with the NFL, was named the PGA Tour's first CEO on June 17. He’s officially been on the job for 18 days.

New committee’s goal is a “holistic relook of how we compete on the Tour,” and will focus on both the regular season, playoffs and off-season.
