Blue Lights won for its second series and beat BBC One's Sherwood, Netflix's Supacell and BBC One's Wolf Hall: The Mirror And The Light. The drama, which is currently filming its third series, follows police officers on patrol in various communities throughout Belfast, tackling paramilitaries, corruption, and legacy issues.
The war documentary that has been described as "a remarkable piece of filmmaking" has picked up the BAFTA for Single Documentary at this year's awards ceremony. Ukraine: Enemy in the Woods aired on BBC Two and has been recognised by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.
