The 2025 NFL draft is quickly approaching with six weeks until Round 1 in Green Bay. For the first time since the league expanded to 32 teams, every franchise is currently positioned to have one first-round pick.

Travis Hunter will be selected early in the 2025 NFL Draft. He likely isn’t going to be the first overall pick. But after that, he’s a viable candidate for Cleveland at No. 2 overall, New Orleans at No. 9 overall and everywhere in between. His dual-threat talents demand top-tier draft stock.

One of the biggest questions from the NFL Draft this year is whether the team that picks top prospect Travis Hunter will use him as a wide receiver or a cornerback, but is there a third position the former Colorado star could line up as?

The NFL has seen two-way players before – including Deion Sanders, who coached Hunter in college – but that typically has been in cameo or emergency roles. In recent years, Patrick Ricard and Scott Matlock have played fullback and defensive line, but not at the snap count Hunter is aiming for.
