All hope may not be lost for the Blue Jays yet, as Ken Rosenthal believes that they can still find an agreement with Vladimir Guerrero Jr.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is seeking to receive the second-richest contract in MLB history, at least in terms of present-day value, according to Ken Rosenthal.

"The number Vladimir Guerrero Jr. wants is $500 million," Rosenthal reported. "Not $500 million before deferrals, but $500 million in present value, according to sources briefed on the first baseman ’s contract negotiations with the Toronto Blue Jays."
