Over the weekend, Cleveland was rocked by a winter snow system that dropped over four inches in multiple parts of Northeast Ohio. Even though the lake is often to blame when the region sees a big dose of snow,

The lake effect snow bands will move north tonight, pummeling Oswego County and the North Country again. They’ll drop south again tonight as the wind shifts, bringing an additional 9 inches or more of snow to Central New York through Wednesday morning, according to the weather service.

The National Weather Service issued an updated weather alert at 9:02 p.m. on Monday for lake effect snow until 10:30 p.m. for Northern Erie and Southern Erie.
