The Golden State Warriors engaged the Phoenix Suns about a potential Kevin Durant deal before the trade deadline, but the 15-time All-Star reportedly objected, choosing instead to remain with the Suns until at least the end of the season (via ESPN's Shams Charania).

Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr addressed Phoenix Suns superstar forward Kevin Durant not wanting to return to the Warriors.

"I don't blame Kevin one bit for not wanting to rerun things here," Kerr told Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN. "He took so much s--- for like, 'Oh, you're jumping on the bandwagon.' And then he's Finals MVP two years in a row. It's like he still gets criticized."
