Keep in mind that Zenless Zone Zero hasn't arrived on PS4 or the Nintendo Switch yet, however. Those two could be a priority over the Xbox One and Xbox Series systems.

All in all, Zenless Zone Zero runs great on the Steam Deck, and hopefully a native 800p resolution mode can be added in a future update to prevent the minor letterboxing caused by the 720p option.

Verdict Zenless Zone Zero sets slick, responsive combat against a backdrop of cassette futurism and ‘90s nostalgia, but it strains against the yoke of HoYoverse’s built-in gacha system.

Switch owners aren't alone, however, as Zenless Zone Zero hasn't arrived on Xbox platforms either. Even the PS4 doesn't have a version of this RPG yet. There may be some hope, however.
