Baker Mayfield received a major injury update ahead of the Saints clash as the Buccaneers look to rebound from last week’s loss to the Lions.

Following the loss, the Bucs saw their spot in ESPN's Week 8 power rankings, drop from the top spot. They had been in the top overall spot in the rankings, as we mentioned, but now they find themselves down at fourth in the rankings as the Lions replace them atop the standings.

The Saints upgraded almost all five players on their initial injury report. It's not so positive for the Buccaneers, who listed 18 players on Thursday
