Dallas was issued a flood warning Wednesday morning and parts of Fort Worth, Arlington and Irving were under a flash flood warning as heavy rainfall and strong to severe storms are expected in North Texas.

Timing for these storms will be Tuesday evening into the overnight hours, as storms will once again develop out west and spread into the Metroplex. The main threats will be large hail and damaging winds and, according to the NWS, an isolated tornado can not be ruled out.

The lull in precipitation will allow temperatures to climb well into the 80s Friday afternoon, so it will feel warm outside.
