Star batter Steve Smith and his dislocated finger are going with Australia to the Caribbean. Captain Pat Cummins says Smith doesn’t need surgery on the compound dislocation to his right pinkie from the World Test Championship final at Lord's.

Steve Smith would have been an influential figure for Australia on the field, because of his presence and also because of his sharp hands at slip. However, he is not fielding for Australia, but has been spotted in the famous Lord's balcony.

Steve Smith suffered a finger injury while attempting to take a catch of Temba Bavuma on Day 3 of the WTC Final.
