Claiming emotional distress, a football fan has filed a long-shot lawsuit seeking punitive damages for Shedeur Sanders draft pick.

Deion Sanders assumed his son would be a high first-round pick, and he approached the draft that way. He had Shedeur sit out the Senior Bowl. Shedeur attended, but didn’t throw. He was at the NFL Combine for interviews, but once again didn’t throw.

However, one Trump critic, who you’d think would blame race for Sanders’ draft fall, believes his drop was more straightforward than that, and less shades of Colin Kaepernick, who has been blackballed by the league.
