Netflix’s previous Fear Street movies were each set in a different decade, and Prom Queen’ s 1980s milieu serves as an appropriate fit for this throwback event.
As such, and given the source material, Netflix ’s decision to follow up “ Fear Street: 1666,” the concluding chapter of its “Fear Street” slasher series, with a party is sensible.
However, if Fear Street: Prom Queen is a hit for Netflix, we have a feeling the streamer would fight for the rights for more Fear Street movies. For now, we’ll just have to wait and see.
