Jefferson hurt his hamstring on the second day of training camp and remained on the sideline until taking his first steps back on the field to kick off the week. After the session was over, Jefferson said that he's "glad that I’m feeling great again" and that he's set a "target" of Week 1 to get back to 100 percent.

The Minnesota Vikings received some welcome news Monday when head coach Kevin O'Connell revealed wide receiver Justin Jefferson is returning to practice this week as he recovers from a hamstring injury.

Justin Jefferson returned to the practice field for the Minnesota Vikings on Monday after nursing a left hamstring strain suffered early in training camp. Vikings coach Kevin O'Connell promised reporters before practice that the star wide receiver would begin to "take part in bits and pieces" of practice to ramp up from his injury.
