Music mogul Jay-Z has filed a defamation lawsuit against an anonymous woman who earlier accused him of raping her when she was 13, alleging she was banking on “false and malicious claims” for financial gain.

The lawsuit also names the woman’s lawyers and claims the defendants made “malevolent efforts to assassinate” Jay-Z’s character in a complaint they later withdrew.

As the Chateau Marmont staff this morning were cleaning up Jay-Z and Beyoncé's annual post-Oscars Gold Parry, the ‘Empire State of Mind’ superstar was doubling down on his backlash against the Jane Doe and the lawyer who accused him and Sean "Diddy" Combs of raping her as a minor in a Valentines' Day dismissed case.

The rapper, whose real name is Shawn Carter, is seeking unspecified damages against the unnamed victim, who said she was 13 at the time of the alleged assault in 2000. Carter's legal team says that the charges,

The anonymous woman withdrew her sex abuse suit last month, but the entertainer says in court papers she has since admitted her account was fabricated. She and her lawyer deny that.
