GKids, the distributor of incredible animated titles from around the world, and HBO Max, are extending their partnership.

Starting Sept. 1, the works of Makoto Shinkai along with “Your Name,” “Shin Godzilla,” and “Perfect Blue,” will be among the titles having their streaming debut. HBO Max is already home to the Studio Ghibli catalog in the United States, distributed by GKIDS.

Shin Godzilla' has landed a new streaming home at HBO Max, where subscribers will be able to watch it for the first time in 4K.
