Earthquakes with magnitudes of 3.6, 3.2 and 2.6 have struck this morning in Concord. They all hit in same area where several small quakes occurred on Sunday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The USGS reported the quake hit 7 miles east of Blackhawk, and 15 miles south of Concord at around 6:30 p.m. at a depth of about 10 miles. There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.

The Concord Fault can produce earthquakes of 6.7 magnitude or higher, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. A magnitude 5.4 quake on the fault caused widespread damage across the Bay Area in 1955.
