Chevy Silverado recall affects more than 62,000 4500/5500/6500 trucks. The vehicles are being recalled because a brake fluid leak could trigger a fire.

The recall affects certain 2019-2024 Chevrolet Silverado 4500HD, 5500HD and 6500HD medium-duty vehicles. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said the brake pressure sensor assembly may leak brake fluid into the brake pressure switch, causing an electrical short circuit.

General Motors is recalling more than 62,000 trucks after finding that brake fluid can leak and potentially spark a fire. GM issued the recall for about 62,468 Chevrolet Silverado trucks, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said.
