Trade rumours have been at the forefront of the news cycle for the Calgary Flames this season. Such is the case when you’re sitting last place in the NHL despite calling yourself a playoff team.

It has not been an easy season so far for Max Domi. Entering Tuesday’s game against the struggling Calgary Flames, Domi had found the back of the net only once through 10 contests while earning zero assists to go with a minus-seven plus/minus total.

On the ensuing rush up ice, Connor Zary dipsy-doodled around Braden Schneider before sending a no-look backhand pass into the slot that was converted by Sharangovich for his first goal of the season and a 3-1 lead with 7:32 left in the middle period.

Blake Coleman scored twice for the Flames on Sunday, Nazem Kadri had a goal and an assist, and goalie Dustin Wolf made 30 saves. The win over the Rangers came after Calgary had been outscored 31–12 during its losing streak.
