“Simmons says wider receiver Charlie Jones (their top punt returner) and Jermaine Burton are going to see time as a kick-return tandem. In the second year of the new kickoff rule, Simmons is looking for sure handers. He anticipates opposing kickers to spray the ball more to force returns and take fewer touchbacks.”

After three days of training camp for the Cincinnati Bengals, things are looking good. The offense is humming along again, with Jermaine Burton continuing to get more involved. Meanwhile, the defense is trying new things in hopes of jumpstarting that side of the ball.

As the offense gave the defense a tough time all day, the highlights were the touch passes into the back corner of the end zone. The play of camp so far was one from Burrow to Chase where the All-Pro receiver snagged the pass with one hand right before he hit the corner of the end zone.
