The Miami Dolphins get a horrible injury update for free agent cornerback Artie Burns, as an MRI confirmed he tore his ACL at the start of training camp.
MIAMI GARDENS -- Miami Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel met with reporters to offer an update on Bayron Matos, Artie Burns and touch on a variety of other subjects. Matos is the team's international player who was injured at the end of the first practice of training camp and airlifted to a hospital with upper-body injury.
Burns is a former Miami Hurricanes standout who was a first-round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2016. An eight-year NFL veteran, spending the last three years with the Seattle Seahawks, the Miami native was making a homecoming this season as an offseason free agent signing.
