HILO (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Hawaii Fire Department welcomed four new ambulances Monday to replace aging ones. County leaders held a blessing Monday at the county building in Hilo.
On Monday, Hawai‘i County officials blessed the new vehicles. Funded by the state with $1.2 million, the ambulances will be assigned to the Central (Hilo), Keauhou, Waikōloa, and Ocean View stations.
