Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry will not play in Wednesday's Game 5 contest against the Minnesota Timberwolves as he continues to recover from a strained hamstring, the team announced on Tuesday afternoon.

It did not look as though Anthony Edwards suffered any ill effects from the ankle injury he sustained early in the Timberwolves' Game 2 win.

Many critics had written off the Warriors at the start of the series, but Steph Curry and his team would not be denied. The Warriors bested the Rockets in seven games and are now facing the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Anthony Edwards went to the locker room during the second quarter of Game 2 against the Warriors with an ankle injury.

Curry and the Warriors were in control when he went down, up 30-20 after the third of Draymond Green's four first half 3s.
