A state court jury has convicted a Minneapolis-area man of third-degree murder and vehicular homicide over the deaths of five young women in a crash in June 2023.
Vance Boelter, 57, has been charged in the shootings of two Minnesota lawmakers and their spouses. The Hennepin County Attorney said Monday that her office intends to pursue first-degree murder charges against him as well.
Boelter is accused of the targeted shootings killing Melissa Hortman and her husband and injuring Minnesota State Sen. John Hoffman and his wife.
