A man was killed and two other people were able to escape a house fire on Tuesday morning in Adger. That's in southwest Jefferson County. It happened at around 10:30 a.m. at a home in the 10200 block of Camp Oliver Road, according to the coroner.

ADGER, Ala. ( WBRC) - A 66-year-old man has died following a house fire in Adger. The fire happened Feb. 25 at 10:23 a.m. in the 10000 block of Camp Oliver Road. The man has been identified but his family has not yet been located and notified. Concord Fire, Birmingport Fire and Warrior Fire Departments all responded to the scene.
