Though this is largely due to the injuries that Joel Embiid and Paul George have dealt with all season, it is still a tough look for the 76ers as they are in legitimate danger of missing the postseason.

The Philadelphia 76ers kick off the second half of the season on Thursday night with a tough home matchup against the Boston Celtics. The first time these two teams met in December, the Sixers secured a key 118-114 victory,

The Knicks are looking to get back on track after losses to the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Boston Celtics and they have handled the Sixers twice already on the season. Philadelphia will look to Tyrese Maxey and Paul George to lead the way in the third of four matchups with the Knicks on the season.

In what has become a rare occurrence this season, the Philadelphia 76ers had Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and Paul George on the court at the same time on Thursday. But having their big three playing together didn't matter.

Paul George scored 17 points to lead the 76ers, who have lost six straight and eight of nine. Philadelphia fell a season-worst 15 games under .500.

According to Draymond Green, who recently spoke with NFL reporter Jordan Schultz, George must hit the ground running in Philadelphia or risk the wrath of their rabid fanbase. Green noted how Philadelphia are still upset over the inconsistent performances of Tobias Harris, so will have high expectations for the veteran forward from day one.
