Japan improved to 2-0 at the WBC, slugging four home runs in an 8-6 win over South Korea.

Defending champion Japan hit four home runs, including one by Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani, to beat South Korea 8-6 in the World Baseball Classic.

Japan and South Korea lock horns at the Tokyo Dome at 5 a.m. ET on Saturday. This will be the second game of the 2026 World Baseball Classic for both teams, who won their respective opening fixtures.
