A nearly-two decades old clip of Brazilian actress Fernanda Torres in blackface has resurfaced days after she was nominated for her first Academy Award. The “I’m Still Here” star issued an apology acknowledging the poor judgment used when she appeared as a housekeeper in a sketch comedy series for the Brazilian series “Fantastico” in the late aughts.

With the film gaining momentum this award season, I’m Still Here earned a Best Picture Oscar nomination as well, along with International Feature Film. While the film is already out in Brazil, it will premiere in the U.S. soon, just ahead of the Academy Awards. Here’s how to watch.
