When it comes to toolchanging 3D printers, idle nozzles tend to drool. Cleaning out that nozzle goo, though, is critical before switching them into use.
Still, after 3D printing it in rigid heat-resistant resin, [Jesse] found a dramatic improvement in the feel of the air exiting the nozzle.
If they become clogged, it can significantly reduce the printing accuracy, so it’s best to clean the nozzle’s exterior with a brass brush whenever you can and invest in spare nozzles.
